CPS Labs engineers have developed Intranet Geographic Information System (GIS) for analyzing results of the National-wide standard examination. We created the system using Auto Desk Map Guide. GIS connects to the central data bank where all the exam results are kept. This analytical tool processes data and represents the findings graphically on detailed maps, diagrams and charts.
GIS generates the maps or chart for the great variety of queries for each region and the whole country, e.g., the average result in a subject or the percentage of students who have accomplished tasks of the highest level of complexity. This information serves as the statistical base for decision-making and investigations.
